For Divers
Become a ReefLogger
If you hold certification as an SSI/PADI Open Water Diver or above (or equivalent from other certification agencies), you're eligible to become a ReefLogger! Simply reach out to a ReefLog partner dive center in your desired diving region in India for the most fruitful survey experience.
Before your dive, your dive instructor or divemaster will conduct a brief orientation to acquaint you with basic identification skills. We also recommend consulting the ReefLog Training Manual to gain a comprehensive understanding of the species you'll be recording during your dive, along with their significance.
During your dive, your dive center will equip you with our ReefLog data collection slates, designed for recording observed species and their abundance. The slate includes illustrations of key indicator species for your reference.
Once you've completed your ReefLog dives, you can easily upload your collected data on our website. Upon successful submission, you officially become a ReefLogger!
