At present, ReefLog focuses on conducting underwater surveys exclusively with scuba divers.
You must at least hold a certification as an SSI/PADI Open Water Diver or its equivalent to participate in a ReefLog survey.
All data collected via ReefLog is freely available, open-source, and regularly updated on our website. It serves various purposes, including aiding dive operators in tracking species in their regions, helping resource managers understand ecosystem health, assisting students in studying marine biodiversity, and serving as a valuable resource for educators seeking to enrich their curriculum with ocean-related content. The possibilities are endless! Our role is simply to compile the data, leaving you free to use it as you see fit.
We encourage dive shops throughout India to partner with us in bringing ReefLog to their locations. We're happy to guide you through the process and provide the necessary materials. Refer to this section for more details
